Elbow Pain

Golfers Elbow or Medial Epicondylitis is a condition where pain is experienced around the inner side of the elbow and may travel down to the rest of the arm. Although the name would lead you to believe that it is a problem only experienced by keen golfers, this is not the case.

Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis) is another common cause of elbow pain. Despite the name, Tennis Elbow does not just afflict tennis professionals. In fact, this common elbow problem (it affects about 3% of the population) is most often associated with work-related activities, although racquet sports players are more prone to the condition and account for approximately 5% of all sufferers. Tennis Elbow usually occurs in the dominant arm.
